Tomanek ULPS Mini - Ultra Linear Power Supply for DAC, Preamps, streamers, routers, switch, phono, CD, DVD or any dvice beetween 5-30 V DC or AC.
The ULPS mini linear power supply has been designed for use in lower-cost, budget converters, where the use of the full transistor version of the ULPS power supply is not economically viable. However, it can be used in any DAC, preamplifier, turntable, streamer or any other device requiring a power supply in the range of 5-30V DC or AC and a load capacity of up to 3A (3A load capacity is available for the lowest voltages, for the highest the maximum current capacity of the power supply is not may be greater than 1A).
The ULPS mini power supply is built around a toroidal transformer, one of the best transformers for audio.
The high-quality LM338T block is responsible for the stabilization of the output voltage, which ensures an ideally constant output voltage in the entire load range of the power supply, with a very low noise level. The filters are the highest quality electrolytic capacitor with a capacity of 10,000 uF for audio applications and smoothing capacitors - tantalum and ceramic.
A bridge with a load capacity of 10A provides the power supply with a trouble-free start (it withstands high inrush current that flows through the system at the moment of power-up - charging an electrolytic capacitor with a very large capacity).
The power supply has AC protection in the form of a glass fuse 5 x 20 mm 1A and built-in short-circuit and thermal (automatic) protections on the DC / AC side.
The power supply is enclosed in a housing made of black powder-coated steel sheet.
The DC / AC output cable which is attached to the power supply is additionally placed in a polyester braid, so we have greater mechanical strength of the cable, but also an extravagant appearance.
The design of the power supply is universal, therefore the parameters of the ULPS mini power supply (output voltage, maximum current) are constructed at the production stage by applying appropriate parameters to the plant and load capacity.
When placing an order, we must specify the voltage and current load of the original power supply and the size of the connector supplying the converter(it will also be useful to know what model will be powered). The power supply will be configured based on this information.
In addition to the purely individual selection of the parameters of the ULPS mini power supply, it can be purchased in a configuration for converters from the list below: http://tomanek.net.pl/webpage/lista-zastosowan-zasilaczy-tomanek-ulps.html
